“Trust in him at all times, O people;
       pour out your hearts to him,
       for God is our refuge.” (Psalm 62:8 )

07:15 AM – Waking up late without blues

I was supposed to wake up at 6 this morning. A guy who took care of my brother’s ID renewal was going to come to collect his passport photo at 8. So, I should be ready by that time. However, this past midnight interruption on my sleep made me wake up an hour late. But, I managed to meet the guy in time. Another good thing is no blues for today.

10:00 AM – Starting a nice morning with tennis news

I’ve been a fan of Rafael Nadal since he was seventeen or eighteen. There is this powerful barbarian thing about him that is really exciting for me. Am I talking about his tennis? Well, yes…and no *winks*. He finally won at Wimbledon, by the way, defeating King Fed in what must be a dramatic five-set match.

I’m beginning to enjoy again things I used to enjoy: reading, watching sports matches, writing, learning french, working. I feel I’m progressing. But, I am not going to rush myself into things. Sometimes, we get a little too excited when we’re feeling good. Well, I’m going to take one step at a time and let the Lord renew myself and my mind continuously.

04:30 PM: Knowing GOD through Apostle John

Now that I’ve read enough counseling booklets, it’s time to learn more about GOD so I can also learn to love him more. I’ve been away from Him quite a long time that everything seems to be new. Perhaps, even when I thought I was close, I still did not know Him much. Stumbling away from Him now and then certainly did not help me get to know the Lord better personally.

The apostle John showed Jesus in His relationships with GOD the Father, His disciples, the world, and the enemy. First thing first: as I’ve thought before, I must get my relationship right with GOD. The sample was given through Jesus’ relationship with GOD the Father. Jesus was dependent on GOD the Father and obeyed Him even to His death on the Cross.

My starting point is: the likeness to the wife of Hosea. The transformation plan is: the likeness to Christ. A life time process in between.
